Have just been looking over this website and I'm sorry to say it looks pretty unused - you've very few (none at the minute) forum users and little information about Mid Ulster towns because you seem to be relying on business adverts and haven't got many.
Just a suggestion, but check out www.jochenleug.freeuk.com. This is a website about Limavady - it's not business driven, but it gives loads of information about the town for anyone who's not been (all those American geneologists) and some lighthearted content for locals - see the newsbrowser. It's a well known website in the local area and I believe it gets a large number of hits.
Mid Ulster has a lot to offer in terms of commerce, people and history. More information about Mid Ulster towns would draw a lot more people, and as someone who lives in Mid Ulster, but who isn't from Mid Ulster, I'd really appreciate some insider local knowledge.

Hi Joanna,
Thanks for your feeback on the site. It is always useful to get the opinion of users on the site. We are continually looking to improve it.The midulster.com is a relatively new portal which is why it will take a bit of time to build up the detailed content that you describe in your post above.
However we will endeavour to add as much useful content about the various areas of mid-ulster as possible over the next few months. We have also started a marketing campaign to increase the visibility of the website, which will in turn hopefully increase the number of active users and businesses.
Regards
Administrator
p.s the link to the limavady site has a misspelling in it. For those wanting to view it go to: http://www.jochenlueg.freeuk.com/index.htm |

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
By the way, re marketing, I saw the advert on the billboard between Toome and the M2 - I'm sure I can't have been the only one.
Hopefully this will build into a really useful and interesting resource - good luck with the site!

I just thought I would give my support to this new site which can only be a good thing for the mid Ulster area - and given time it will grow and grow!

Hi
We are a new business in the cookstown Area that sell Baby Equipment
I was wondering can someone inform me on something. I have noticed in previous posts that Midulster.com has used billboards to advertise. We would like to use this form of advertising and it would be great if someone could point me in the direction of who to contact regarding this
Thanks jg |
